The Simpsons pays tribute to Hayao Miyazaki
This is one of the greatest video clips I have ever seen in my life. If you are a lover of both The Simpsons and Hayao Miyazaki films, you will probably agree. In honour of the acclaimed film maker, Hayao Miyazaki’s retirement as he announces that ‘The Wind Rises’ will be his last film, The Simpsons have dedicated an episode titled “Married to the Blob”.
The episode which airs on FOX on Sunday night is about Comic Book Guy’s attempt to date a Japanese woman who is writing an autobiographically manga. This little snippet is when Homer drinks too much ‘snake wine’ and stumbles into a hallucinated Japanese town where some of Miyazaki’s most famous characters appear.
